Job Title: SAP Datasphere Consultant (Utilities Sector)
Location:Midlands / Remote
We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant to join our team in the utilities sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, and ABAP programming. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data models and warehousing solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement data models using SAP Datasphere.
* Develop and optimize data warehousing solutions to support business operations and reporting.
* Utilize ABAP to create custom enhancements, reports, and data transformations.
* Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Ensure data quality, security, and performance in all solutions.
* Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the data environment, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and infrastructure.
Key Qualifications:
* Proven experience in SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
* Expertise in data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
* Proficient in ABAP programming with experience in creating custom solutions.
* Strong understanding of business processes in the utilities sector is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.
* Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud or other BI tools.
* Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
