As a Support Worker within our supported accommodation service, you will play a vital role in providing holistic, person-centred support to young people transitioning towards independent living. You will create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment that promotes personal development, emotional wellbeing, and life skills. Working within a newly regulated setting, you will ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are consistently upheld.
Support & Care Delivery
* Develop, implement, and regularly review personalised support plans in line with Local Authority care standards.
* Deliver structured key work sessions aligned with individual support goals through one-to-one education and reflective conversations.
* Provide trauma-informed, empathetic support, actively listening and guiding young people through emotional challenges.
* Promote physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing at all times.
* Use positive behaviour support strategies and reflective practice to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
* Respond calmly and effectively to crises or emergencies, following organisational procedures.
