You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through proactive maintenance, repair of equipment, and upkeep of grounds. Your work will help promote a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment where staff and visitors can operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs.
* Maintain all equipment, tools, and plant in a safe and operational condition, liaising with external suppliers and service providers as needed.
* Maintain the grounds to a high standard, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-kept.
* Conduct and document scheduled health and safety checks.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests, delivering excellent service to all staff and visitors.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and replacements.
* Support improvements and upgrades to facilities and equipment as directed.
* Be proactive in professional development, including mandatory training, to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
Essential:
* Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
* Ability to carry out DIY tasks and general repairs.
* Strong communication and customer service skills in English.
* Proactive, reliable, and committed to high standards of safety and efficiency.
Desirable:
* Previous experience maintaining large grounds or multiple facilities.
* Experience liaising with contractors or suppliers.
* Relevant maintenance, H&S, or trade qualifications.
