The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Integration and Systems Validation (ISV) within missile ground trials for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is looking to broaden their skills within the field of Systems Proving.
Reporting into the Chief Systems Proving Engineer the Ground Trials lead is responsible for leading, and owning the day-to-day technical delivery of trials activities within their domain as well as supporting the planning and strategic activities on the project.
The role includes:
* Developing and owning the ground trials proving strategy for the project
* Managing delivery of Missile ground trials across the project
* Balance of coordination and technical leadership predominantly in delivery of Environmental, EMC and Live trials activities.
* Interface with different project customers and stakeholders to plan and achieve key design verification and evidence
* A hands-on and practical approach in the planning and conduct of integration and compatibility proving activities where required.
* Developing a strong understanding of trails and systems proving principals.
For the right proactive candidate there may be additional opportunities to support additional lab based or offsite international trials as part of a broader development.
As part of the Meteor ISV team, you would have the opportunity to work on an exciting, high-performance product and to develop and broaden your technical skills by working within a dynamic proving team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with other areas of MBDA including Systems and Software project teams.
