The Role We are seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer / Authorised Person (AP) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing electrical plant and equipment, ensuring swift resolution of faults and defects, and supporting critical systems operations. Key Responsibilities Act as the electrical Authorised Person (AP) Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA Maintain and inspect UPS systems, generators, and commercial installations Apply risk-focused maintenance strategies for critical plant/systems Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and works requests Undertake upgrade and installation projects Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with financial processes Support incident reporting and root cause analysis What We're Looking For Essential: 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2/3) Previous AP appointment (e.g., AP15/12) Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified electrical engineer Experience with generators and UPS maintenance Strong understanding of building maintenance systems Desirable: Knowledge of BMS, HVAC systems, and CDM processes Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) Testing and inspection of electrical systems Water hygiene (L8) awareness Why Join Us?
