We are seeking a passionate and qualified teacher to take on the role of Teaching and Learning Coordinator at Riverside Primary School. This is a full-time, permanent position with the addition of a TLR 2A for leading and supporting Teaching and Learning across the school. As T&L Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving high standards of teaching practice, supporting colleagues in professional development and contributing to whole-school improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with teaching experience and a desire to make a broader impact. In addition to the T&L Coordinator role you will also deliver high quality teaching and learning to pupils and lead a core subject. You will foster a positive classroom environment and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of all learners.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of the children
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Promote a love of learning
* Assess and monitor pupil progress
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
* Be a DDSL to support the safeguarding team when required
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree qualification
* Strong classroom management skills
* Outstanding classroom practice and a commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for children
* A commitment to inclusive education and equality of opportunity
* Able to use own initiative, creativity and innovative ideas to motivate and inspire children
* Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, parents/carers and children
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Dedication to educating and empowering students
* A firm commitment to continuous professional development
