Salary up to £39,693 (dependant on experience) Fully funded Level 5 Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare) Qualification bonuses on completion 28 days annual leave Pension scheme & long service rewards Health & wellbeing programme including 24/7 Employee Assistance Pay Care scheme - cashback on medical expenses Perkbox - discounts at high street & online retailers Refer a Friend scheme Free meals on shift & casual dress code Free parking Paid DBS and ongoing CPD opportunities About the Home & Company: Established, reputable provider with over 15 years of experience supporting children and young people Homes rated Good and Outstanding by Ofsted, recognised nationally for quality of care Specialises in children and young people aged 8-18 with complex needs, trauma backgrounds, and emotional/behavioural challenges Strong, values-led culture with a focus on nurture, therapeutic practice, and trauma-informed care Known for supporting and promoting staff with clear career progression and ongoing investment in development About the Role: Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home Lead and mentor staff, including supervision, development, and performance reviews Oversee rota management, shift planning, and resource allocation Support safeguarding, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and external professionals Contribute to and implement individual care and therapeutic plans Promote a stable, nurturing environment where young people can thrive Cover on-call duties (rota basis) and work flexibly including weekends and sleep-ins where required Requirements: Essential: Minimum 2 years' experience in children's residential care Minimum 1 year's supervisory/leadership experience Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Willingness to complete (or currently undertaking) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and trauma-informed practice Confident in leadership, organisation, and decision-making IT literate, with strong written and verbal communication skills Full UK driving licence Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends & sleep-ins Resilience, adaptability, and a child-focused mindset Desirable: Completed Level 5 qualification Experience in managing staff performance and leading home compliance Interested?
