About the Role
A global asset management and insurance organisation is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager - EMEA for a newly created role based in London. This is a strategic and operational position responsible for payroll, compensation, and benefits administration across Europe.
As the EMEA business grows, this role will be central in building frameworks, improving processes, and leading compensation and benefits initiatives, including post-acquisition integrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee payroll operations across Europe, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with local regulations.
* Administer and advise on compensation and benefits programs, including healthcare, pensions, and insurance.
* Support annual salary reviews, salary benchmarking, and budgeted increases.
* Lead HR projects, harmonisation of compensation practices, and development of grading structures.
* Partner with internal stakeholders across EMEA and the US to ensure consistent and compliant practices.
Candidate Profile
* 3-4+ years of experience in payroll, compensation, and benefits management across EMEA.
* Strong knowledge of European payroll processes, outsourced providers, and compliance requirements.
* Skilled in Excel and reporting tools for payroll and compensation analysis.
* Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Comfortable working independently in a newly created role and a non-hierarchical environment.
