An opportunity has arisen for a Patent Paralegal to join a well-established and innovative IP practice. The firm is looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual with at least 3 years’ experience in patent formalities, ideally with a strong working knowledge of European grant and validation procedures. Working closely with attorneys and clients alike, you will be responsible for managing complex procedural tasks and ensuring the smooth progress of applications across jurisdictions. Responsibilities: Handling Rule 71(3) EPC communications and coordinating timely responses Managing the EP grant and validation process across European jurisdictions Drafting Powers of Attorney and formal documents for filing and execution Reporting grant, publication and registration details to clients Monitoring deadlines and ensuring accuracy in docketing and records Liaising with clients, attorneys and foreign agents to ensure procedural compliance Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Patent Paralegal, ideally with EP and UK patent knowledge Familiarity with grant and validation procedures across multiple jurisdictions Excellent written communication and attention to detail Experience with IP management systems (such as Inprotech or similar) Ability to manage deadlines effectively and work well under pressure Apply now or contact Antony Setford at G2 Legal.
