Job Title: Regional Manager (RM)

Reporting To: Sales Director
Role Overview
The Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across the Northern region. This role focuses on maximising revenue within an established customer base, while also identifying and converting new business opportunities.
The RM is accountable for delivering total regional performance across three key sales streams: Core, Projects, and Chemical.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of 195 live buying sites (LBS)
* Deliver consistent sales growth by expanding business within existing customer accounts
* Conduct detailed sales and category analysis to identify gaps in customer purchasing behaviour
* Increase product penetration by introducing and selling into categories not currently purchased by each site
* Identify and convert new business opportunities, targeting sites not currently purchasing
* Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at customer sites
* Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each customer
* Monitor performance against sales targets and implement corrective actions where required
Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in sales or account management (FMCG or food & drink preferred)
* Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify growth opportunities
* Demonstrated success in both account growth and new business acquisition
* Experience in a matrix or multi-functional sales environment (desirable)
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* Commercially astute and results-driven
* Strong organisational and territory management skills
