What You'll Do
* Lead and deliver complex aquatic field surveys: macroinvertebrates, macrophytes, fish (electrofishing, netting, translocations)
* Conduct water quality, hydrology and habitat assessments
* Prepare and review technical reports and impact assessments (WFD, HRA, EcIA)
* Manage medium-scale projects: budgets, timelines and client relationships
* Mentor and develop junior ecologists
* Contribute to restoration, R&D and wider research initiatives
What You Bring
* Chartered (CIEEM) or equivalent professional status
* Proven experience in aquatic ecology fieldwork and assessments
* Strong technical writing and project-management skills
* A passion for biodiversity enhancement and sustainable design
* Full UK driving licence
