Your new role
You'll step into a key position supporting the operational delivery of payroll and pensions for a complex workforce for a fixed term contract until June 2026 - with a possibility for it to be extended or converted to permanent. Acting as a subject matter expert, you'll work closely with the Payroll & Pensions Manager to ensure compliance, drive improvements, and deliver a reliable, efficient service. You'll also provide expert advice across payroll, pensions, tax, and regulatory areas - all while helping shape and embed new systems and processes.
What you will need to succeed
You'll bring significant experience in payroll and pensions within a large, complex organisation. A relevant qualification and expert knowledge of PAYE, NI, auto-enrolment, and pensions legislation are essential. You'll also be confident working to deadlines, communicating with stakeholders, and identifying ways to enhance service delivery. Experience with integrated payroll systems is key - and if you've worked with Oracle or iTrent, even better.
