We’re recruiting for a Branch Assistant to join a leading business in the electrical wholesale sector. This is a varied role where you’ll be dealing with customers on the phone and in person, as well as supporting warehouse operations.
What you’ll be doing
1. Serving customers at the trade counter, providing excellent customer service
2. Handling inbound calls and processing customer orders
3. Supporting warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and stock control
4. Assisting with deliveries and ensuring goods are handled safely and accurately
5. Working closely with the branch team to ensure smooth daily operations
What we’re looking for
6. Previous experience in a customer-facing or trade counter role (ideally in electrical wholesale, construction supplies, or similar)
7. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
8. Willingness to support both office and warehouse tasks
9. Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong team ethic
10. Flexibility to work 1 in 3 Saturdays as part of the rota
