Exciting opportunities available for Patient Transport Assistants (non-driving role) to join our team in Bournemouth.
Responsibilities
* Patient Transport & Care – Supporting the safe transfer of patients to and from healthcare appointments as a non-driving crew member, providing reassurance, support, and compassionate care throughout their journey.
* Assisting with Mobility – Helping patients with mobility needs, including safe lifting, use of specialist equipment, and transferring patients to and from vehicles or their homes.
* Communication & Compassion – Communicating clearly and kindly with patients, families, and healthcare staff, maintaining dignity, respect, and patient confidentiality at all times.
* Vehicle Checks & Basic Administration – Carrying out daily vehicle checks, keeping all equipment clean and ready in line with Infection Prevention and Control procedures, and ensuring that any incidents and/or journey details are accurately recorded as required.

Requirements
* Fully flexibility to work shifts on any day of the week, including weekends.
* Experience in a customer-facing role (care sector desirable).
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Are caring and compassionate when supporting diverse patients.
* Have good physical fitness for moving and handling patients.
* Communicate clearly and kindly both in person and in writing.
* Able to follow procedures and health & safety requirements.
* Able to maintain accurate records and respect confidentiality.
* Calm and professional approach in challenging situations.
* Basic problem-solving skills and initiative.
* Are reliable and punctual.
* Have basic IT Knowledge.
