Pharmacy Central Operations Team – Team Member (Dispenser)
About The Role
At Lindsay & Gilmour, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. Our teams work collaboratively with each other and with other healthcare providers, to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
We are looking for 2 experienced and flexible NVQ2-qualified Pharmacy Dispensers to join our newly established Pharmacy Central Operations Team. This role offers the opportunity to support a range of pharmacies across our group, helping to maintain excellent patient service and operational continuity during periods of increased demand or change.
As part of a mobile and responsive support team, you will work under the guidance of a Team Leader and report indirectly to the Superintendent Pharmacist. Most of your time will be based in a designated pharmacy, but you will also travel to other locations when required to provide hands-on operational support.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pharmacy teams in maintaining accurate, safe, and efficient dispensing in accordance with all regulatory requirements, professional and company standards.
* Work collaboratively with field and pharmacy team colleagues, adapting quickly to different environments and challenges.
* Support team development, process improvement, and the implementation of best practices across the network.
* Travel as part of a central support team to assist other pharmacies across the group.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent dispensing qualification).
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a community pharmacy or similar environment.
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
* Reliability, adaptability, and a willingness to travel as needed.
* Commitment to patient safety and high-quality service delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic dispensers who enjoy variety in their work and are passionate about supporting teams to deliver great care across a wider network.
