We are a friendly, supportive GP practice dedicated to providing high-quality patient care to our community. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our clinical team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide a full range of nursing services to patients, working as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The role will include health promotion and treatment room duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide evidence-based nursing care, including wound care, dressings, immunisations, and cervical smears.
* Women's Health: Support the management of long‑term conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
* Participate in health screening and health promotion activities.
* Support QAIF targets and practice initiatives.
* Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice protocols.
* Work collaboratively with GPs, other nurses, and administrative staff.
* Stock control and ordering.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse – NMC Pin required.
* Previous experience in a GP practice or primary care setting is desirable.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
