Key Accountabilities: Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified goals. Resolves equipment breakdowns to ensure production downtime is minimised. Uses problem solving techniques to quickly get to the root cause of problems and provides effective corrective actions. Installation, investigation and repair of both single phase and 3 phase circuits. Fault analysis of hardwire relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits (1.5V to 415V 3phase) and common utility / lighting circuits; Provides preventative maintenance cover for all production related equipment. Installation of new control circuits, modification of existing instrument/electrical systems as requested, to include design, load and Implementation of new control logic; Fault analysis of PLC based systems with control logic modification if required. Achieve goals to contribute to team, department, and company objectives. Actively participate in Practical Process Improvement/5S/and other continuous improvement/lean projects. Responsible for ensuring that a clean, tidy and hazard free working environment is maintained to defined standards. Follow all lock out / tag out procedures. Ensure full and timely reporting of all major breakdowns, significant problems, repair requirements, delays or machine down time to relevant personnel. Observes all company safety rules and regulations when performing work. Required to be knowledgeable of HSE standards and other occupational hazards. Works from equipment specifications, drawings, sketches and verbal instructions, Maintain parts usage and repair logs. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications: Time served apprenticeship with an electrical bias essential Electrical Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Electrical installation work on both single phase and 3 phase. Must have extensive experience solving and repairing electrical systems, including PLC programs Knowledge of plastic moulding equipment is desired Must have excellent communication skills, work in a team environment and the ability to train and provide guidance to others Experience working in a clean room environment would be preferred Licensed (or willing to gain license) to operate all types of MEWP vehicles.
