Following a Local Induction, you will be trained in various areas to equip you with the necessary skills for clerical duties within the Emergency Services Directorate:
* Emergency Department
* Acute Medical Unit
* ED Main Reception
* AMU Main Reception
* ED Coordinators
* AMU Coordinators
* ED Ambulance Receiving Centre
* AMU Ward
* Same Day Emergency Care Reception
It is essential to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to organise your workload while supporting colleagues during breaks.
The successful candidate will be required to cover colleagues' absences at short notice, including Bank Holidays, Weekends, and Out of Hours shifts, as this is a 24-hour service operating 365 days a year.
Your duties will include administrative procedures related to the custody and use of Health Records, including all documentation associated with patient admissions and attendances to the Emergency Services.
