Are you passionate about customer service and looking for a rewarding career in the automotive industry? Steer Automotive Group is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Customer Service Advisor to join our busy vehicle repair centre in Hull.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience, ensuring every vehicle repair journey runs smoothly from initial booking through to vehicle collection.
Key Responsibilities
14. Welcome customers in person and over the phone with a professional and friendly approach
15. Manage vehicle repair bookings, customer updates, and collection arrangements
16. Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, insurers, and suppliers
17. Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
18. Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
19. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the repair process
About You
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced customer-focused environment and enjoys building positive relationships.
Essential Skills & Experience
20. Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, service advisor, or administrative role
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
22. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
23. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
24. Good computer and IT system skills
25. A genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Desirable
26. Experience within the automotive, accident repair, bodyshop, or vehicle repair industry (advantageous but not essential)
