Job Description
NECSWS has an excellent opportunity for a Presales professional, specifically with knowledge of the Public Safety sector, including Police, Fire, Ambulance, or Transport.
The role requires experience in product demonstrations and tender responses.
Main responsibilities:
* Assist the sales team with bid responses, working with product, development, and portfolio teams.
* Configure, build, and demonstrate NEC Safety products.
* Interpret customer demonstration scenarios to design product configurations.
* Demonstrate NEC Safety portfolio functionalities for new business and account management.
* Serve as a product subject matter expert during the sales process.
* Understand associated Safety products such as control rooms, policing, evidence management, biometrics, and managed services.
Roles are available for junior and senior pre-sales; senior roles involve major bids over £20m.
Qualifications:
* Experience in presales or presentation skills in private or public sectors.
* Knowledge of the Safety business arena.
* Experience with Control Rooms, Operational Policing, Evidence Management/Data Analytics, or Managed Services.
Ideally, you will have:
* Knowledge of the Public Safety market.
* Understanding of customer requirements in Public Safety.
* Government security clearance.
* Understanding of government and safety environment drivers.
* Market competition awareness.
* Ability to interact with high-level managers and officers.
* Focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
* Adaptability in demonstrations and proposals.
* Support for other teams in proposal preparation and follow-up.
* Ambassadorship for NEC capabilities.
Personal Skills:
* Self-reliant with team skills.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Strong bid writing skills.
* Relationship-building abilities.
* Effective time management.
* Willingness to travel and hold a valid UK/EC driving license.
