Duties of a Panel & MET Technician:
9. Perform removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical and trim components on vehicles
10. Accurately diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs
11. Ensure all repairs conform to manufacturer standards and quality expectations
12. Safeguard customer vehicles and contents during work
13. Interpret technical data and use alignment equipment accurately
14. Keep the work environment clean, safe and hazard-free
15. Report on additional faults or damages found during repairs
16. Complete all documentation accurately, ensuring minimal wastage and correct part orders
17. Maintain tools and equipment to high standards
18. Support team members and assist with workshop activities as required
Candidate requirements:
19. Previous time-served MET or panel repair experience
20. NVQ Level 3 or senior ATA accreditation desirable
21. Full UK driving licence
22. Own tools and equipment
23. Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
24. Attention to detail and commitment to quality
