A day in the life of a Murphy Surveyor
Install and verify site control networks.
Carry out topographical surveys and setting out activities.
Conduct terrestrial laser scanning and manage point cloud data.
Support utility survey teams with data capture, QA, and coordination.
Maintain clear and accurate field records and documentation.

Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
Confident using GNSS equipment, total stations, and laser scanners.
Experience working with survey software such as N4CE, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Centre, or Leica Cyclone.
UAV experience (LiDAR and/or photogrammetry).
Familiarity with machine control systems and earthworks volume management.
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with project teams and subcontractors
