Position Overview
The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Physics curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a vital role in fostering students' scientific curiosity, critical thinking skills, and understanding of the fundamental principles of Physics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver stimulating lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
* Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates student achievement.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department to enhance the overall science program and contribute to extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Physics at the secondary level.
* A strong understanding of Physics concepts and principles.
* Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting experiments.
