Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time or Part-time considered)
Salary: £31,000 - £50,000 dependant on pay scale
Start Date: September 2026
Key Stage: Up to A LevelAcademics are looking for an ambitious Teacher of Media and/or English for a highly successful school in Tunbridge Wells. Applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are committed to delivering engaging lessons in Media and English up to A Level.
The Role:
Teach Media and/or English across Key Stages, including A Level
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
Contribute to a collaborative and successful English department
Support student progress, attainment, and wellbeing
Engage in wider school life, including enrichment activitiesKey Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
DBS or willing to apply for one
A degree in English, Media, or a related subject
Ability to teach English and/or Media up to A Level
Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
Interest in Drama (desirable but not essential)The School Offers:
