Role Responsibility

* Supervise the Meetings and Events department in executing daily business.
* Assist with training and developing non-matchday and matchday staff.
* Maintain Meetings and Events standards.
* Ensure all areas of the Meetings and Events facility are maintained to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and appearance.
* Ensure the preparation of all function areas, quality of service, and hygiene standards within the catering facility conform to company standards.
* Ensure all Meetings and Events functions are set correctly and standards are maintained at the highest level.
* Complete preparatory work for all events in a timely manner.
* Be fully aware of the specifics of individual functions, such as arrival times, refreshment break times, food service times, and bar closing times.
* Have thorough knowledge of dishes served within the Meetings & Events facility and be able to provide feedback or information to customers with questions.


The Ideal Candidate

* Experience supervising in a large operation with high-volume meetings and events business.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, train, manage, and motivate staff.
* Experience working front of house, with various concepts and service styles.
* Experience within sports and leisure/stadia environments.
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.
* Food Safety Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
