Heathside is our 37-bedroom residential home, offering a cosy, traditional feel, while The Mews is our 25-bedroom home with a light and modern atmosphere. These two homes sit side-by-side, sharing many activities and outings but each offering a unique experience. What both homes have in common is the exceptional level of care we provide. Our approach is person-centred, meaning we take the time to truly understand the individuals we support. Mealtimes are a key part of creating a warm, nurturing environment, and as a Kitchen Support Worker, you'll help make every meal enjoyable, comforting, and nourishing for our residents. A Day in the Life of a Kitchen Support Worker In this role, you'll support the kitchen team to prepare and serve well-balanced, nutritious meals. You don't need previous cooking experience - we'll provide all the training you need. You'll use pre-prepared ingredients and simple recipes to create delicious, home-style meals, while ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe, and well-organised.
