We are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school in Croydon on a long-term basis starting in September. The Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task with the work provided. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and maintain a positive learning environment across a range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole classes during teacher absences
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students stay focused
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with their learning when appropriate
• Provide feedback on student engagement and behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with young people (in a school or similar setting)
• Be confident managing classroom behaviour
• Possess strong communication and organisational skills
• Be adaptable, proactive, and professional
• Be able to build positive relationships with students and staff
