About the role

As a Capital Markets Manager, you'll help clients navigate complex financial reporting challenges across a wide range of deals, delivering clear, practical solutions in time‑sensitive environments.
You'll join a collaborative and inclusive Capital Markets team that values wellbeing, development and flexible working. The team supports and trusts individuals to work independently, while benefiting from close collaboration with senior managers, directors and partners.
Based in the UK with flexible office, home and client working, the role involves exposure to senior client stakeholders and may require occasional client travel depending on engagement needs.
What your days will look like
You'll play a key role in the successful delivery of capital markets engagements, taking ownership for both technical output and client experience. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
1. Writing and reviewing financial assurance / diligence reports, comfort letters and transaction documents
2. Interacting with client management to assess assurance information and transaction risks
3. Managing multiple engagements, overseeing delivery, quality and commercial performance
4. Leading on complex accounting issues under IFRS or US GAAP, including GAAP conversions
This role is for you if:
5. Must possess a Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA / ACCA / ICAS / US CPA) or an international equivalent
6. Experience working with SEC reporting, PCAOB standards and US GAAP
7. Proven experience managing engagement teams, including coaching and reviewing work
8. Strong project management experience across multiple concurrent deadlines
9. Demonstrated experience delivering high‑quality work in time‑pressured environments
10. Experience applying UK and/or US capital markets rules and regulations
