JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Head Teacher, the successful candidate will work as an effective member of the early years team, contributing to planning, delivering, and assessing a flexible, high-quality education and care service that meets the needs of young people and their families.
This position will initially be based at Symington Early Years Centre.

REQUIREMENTS
This role involves Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as per the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or update their membership before a formal job offer. Further information is available at Disclosures Scotland. PVG costs may be applicable.

The work style is Frontline.
This position is classified at Level 8 for candidates holding the relevant degree qualification. Candidates working towards their degree will be considered and placed at Level 7 until qualification is achieved. The annual salary, adjusted for a term-time work pattern, ranges from £13,544 to £15,194.
