ALT is working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded law firm on the South Coast to recruit an experienced Employment Law Paralegal. This is a standout opportunity for a paralegal seeking a lateral move into a progressive, supportive team with a strong reputation for delivering expert employment law advice to both individuals and businesses across the Solent region.
You’ll join a growing Employment team known for its technical excellence, high-quality client service, and consistent flow of varied and interesting work. The firm offers genuine exposure to complex matters and clear progression opportunities for ambitious legal professionals.
The Role
You’ll play a key role supporting fee earners on a broad range of employment law matters, with hands-on involvement from the outset. This includes:
Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution
Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, and HR documentation
Preparing correspondence and legal documents with precision and attention to detail
Managing case files and ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines
Liaising confidently with clients, counsel, and third parties
Supporting on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Contributing to the smooth running of cases and delivering an excellent client experience
Requirements
This opportunity will suit an Employment Law Paralegal who is looking to build on their existing experience within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Proven experience supporting employment law matters, including tribunal work
Strong drafting skills across contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach
Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Commercially aware, with a good understanding of legal risk and client needs
Proactive, adaptable, and able to perform well under pressure
