A great opportunity to join the Kuehne+Nagel team at Bicester. This role is an integral element of the day to day operational functionality delivering objectives and outputs efficiently and effectively within a Kuehne+Nagel Government & Defence warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
* Carry out assigned tasks including: picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, the processing of returns and stock maintenance and integrity tasks.
* Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out other assigned computer based tasks as required.
* Comply and contribute to the KN 5s standards within the working area.
* Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas.
* Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/ WI.
* Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy.
* Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
* Achieve individual and team productivity performance standards including accuracy.
* Adopt KN Compass behaviours.
* Follow the escalation process where there is any deviation from the standard process.
* Requirement to work at height in a safe and effective manner in line with training provided.
What we would like you to bring
* Experience of working to agreed targets.
* PC literate.
* MHE licence (preferable).
* Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading.
* Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
* Reliable and committed to attending work on time.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy.
* High attention to detail.
