Job Introduction
Join our mission to help Milton Keynes City Council reach Net Zero by 2030
Milton Keynes City Council has recently updated its ambitious targets to achieve net zero emissions for the city council by 2030 (as set out in the Pathway to Net Zero document).
We’re focusing on two key areas: achieving our internal sustainability targets of net zero by 2030 and collaborating with external partners to make Milton Keynes a leading sustainable city.
We’re seeking a skilled Energy Technical Officer to oversee various energy projects, including heat networks, renewable energy initiatives and building retrofit.
You’ll work with both internal and external colleagues to help the city council achieve its Net Zero 2030 goal and collaborate closely with the Sustainability Lead (Council) to reduce our emissions and promote sustainability across the organisation.
This is a home-based role.
Interviews will be held on 19 and 27 June.
