KBR is looking to recruit Lead Process Engineers x8 to join us in Leatherhead on 12+ month contracts.

Core Responsibilities:
Leading or working within a team of process engineers, you will advise and contribute to the following:
* Leading a team within large or smaller projects
* Controlling manhours and budget, ensuring process work is completed in line with the project schedule
* Approving, checking, or supporting the production of process simulations, heat and material balances, process and utility flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, and calculations for equipment design or rating
* Developing system design parameters
* Performing process hydraulic calculations for pump and line sizing, piping, and instrument data to support downstream disciplines
* Leading the development of concepts from client specifications
* Supporting and producing technical and techno-economic studies
* Developing advanced controls and process optimization
* Liaising with other disciplines, project management, and clients
Skills / Experience:
Essential:
* Experience leading a team of more than 10 process engineers
* Experience communicating across multi-discipline teams and different offices
* Understanding of project requirements across disciplines
* Experience managing work hours, schedules, and budgets on major projects
* Good organizational skills
* Experience developing presentations and communicating with client teams
* Understanding of proposal development for new projects
* Ability to drive quality within the process team and ensure high standards
* Understanding of equipment sizing calculations and experience specifying equipment
* Experience with relief valve sizing and calculations
* Experience specifying vessel and exchanger sizes
* Experience leading safety reviews (HazOp/SIL/LOPA)
* Experience developing hydraulic calculations for complex circuits
* Good understanding of process control and cause-and-effect diagrams
* Strong technical report writing skills
* Self-motivated with effective communication skills for team collaboration
* Flexibility to work across various technologies
Desirable:
* Experience building simulation models in Hysys/ProMax or similar tools
* Experience with conceptual studies
* Mentoring or training younger engineers
* Experience using COMOS
Qualifications:
* BSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
* 15+ years experience with a major EPC contractor or operator
