KIMS Hospital is expanding its paediatric outpatient service and is seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and proactive Paediatrics Staff Nurse to join our Team on a Bank basis. As part of this growing service, you’ll play a key role in delivering “healthcare at its best” to patients aged 0–18 years across a range of specialties including cardiology, imaging, dermatology, and physiotherapy.
Main duties of the job
* Delivering exceptional care and family support in a calm and child-friendly outpatient environment
* Supporting with assessment, investigations, care planning and onward referrals of the child or young person.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of our paediatric outpatient service in line with national guidelines
* Acting as a key support to the wider multidisciplinary team, providing advice and leadership when required
* Championing infection control, safeguarding, and patient safety standards

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NMC Registered Paediatric Nurse
* • PALS/APLS certification, mentorship qualification, knowledge of recent developments in paediatric care.
Experience
* Post-registration experience working in CYP services
* Up-to-date knowledge of paediatric clinical practice and governance
* Strong interpersonal skills and a child-and-family-first mindset
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing clinical situations
* A desire to shape, grow and support a patient centric paediatric service
