Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, your key responsibility is the growth of a specific sales region. The area already hosts an existing client portfolio but the role hinges on 80% New Business Development and 20% Account Management of our existing customer base. You will engage in all stages of the sales process, including prospecting, appointment setting, customer presentations and demonstrations through to closing the deal. Efficient planning and management of the territory, combined with a strong work ethic, drive and enthusiasm, are crucial. You will work with a consultative approach across all levels from shop floor to board level to understand prospects and customers, identify opportunities for new business, expand existing relationships or add value. A successful sales track record within the electric warehousing equipment sector or a similar industry (such as pallet racking systems) is preferred. Responsibilities
* Develop and grow sales in a defined region with 80% new business development and 20% account management.
* Prospect, qualify, present and demonstrate Crown solutions to potential customers.
* Plan and manage territory effectively; develop thorough understanding of each prospect or customer.
* Apply consultative selling across all levels of the organization to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
* Demonstrate a successful sales track record within the electric warehousing equipment sector or similar industries.
Essential Skills / Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years Materials Handling sales background, ideally within the Fork Lift Industry.
* Strong new business development skills.
* Effective account management / development capabilities.
* Personable and able to build strong relationships.
* Strong presentation and customer-facing skills (written and verbal presentations, equipment demonstrations, price negotiation and objection handling).
* Commercial acumen (need identification, market awareness, competitor awareness).
* Solution sales ability; numerically competent.
* IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
* Excellent organizational skills (territory planning, time management, meeting deadlines).
* Ability to absorb client information and communicate features and benefits to customers.
Vacancy Details
* Hours Of Work: Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week, may be more to fulfill job requirements.
* Target Salary: Highly competitive salary plus excellent commission and quarterly bonus.
