With a strong presence in high-profile commercial, residential, and renewable energy projects, we deliver integrated engineering services with a commitment to quality, safety, and innovation. We are currently looking for a skilled Document Controller to join our growing team. Role Overview As a Document Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting project teams by managing all project documentation efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be detail-oriented, and have prior experience working within the engineering or construction industry. Key Responsibilities of the Document Controller Act as the primary Document Controller for assigned projects, managing all technical documents, drawings, and communications. Ensure all documents are properly logged, filed, and maintained in accordance with their quality standards. Monitor document control processes including submission, revision control, approvals, and archiving. Distribute and retrieve documentation to and from clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Prepare and maintain drawing registers, submittal logs, and compliance records as required. Support the production of O&M manuals and project handover documentation. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure the document control system is compliant and up to date. Requirements & Skills Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction, M&E, or engineering sector. Strong knowledge of document control systems and document numbering protocols. Familiarity with digital EDMS platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, SharePoint). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word). Excellent time management, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads under pressure. Knowledge of M&E terminology is advantageous. Preferred Qualifications Certification in document control or quality management (e.g., ISO 9001). Experience compiling and reviewing technical documents and O&M manuals.
