Role: Field Service Engineer
Salary per annum (dependent on experience)
Type: Permanent
Location: Birmingham - On the road
My client is a specialist service provider for CCTV. They are looking for an Engineer to join their team near Birmingham on a permanent basis.
The Engineer will ideally have the following attributes :
* 3 year or more of experience in a similar Service / Maintenance Engineering position
* Have a background in CCTV with knowledge of CCTV systems and principles
* Knowledge of electrical engineering
* Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Good mathematical and general engineering knowledge
* The ability to understand system requirements
* Be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Engineer role will involve :
* Carrying out installation of CCTV systems
* Providing servicing & maintenance for CCTV systems
* Identifying and rectifying faults on CCTV systems
* Guidance and assistance to customers as required on functional and technical information
* Maintaining working relationships with colleagues and clients
