Drive Seamless Technology Deployments in a Scaling Tech Business
Our client is hiring a Deployment Manager to take ownership of system changes across their growing internal tech landscape. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you'll help establish and improve how new functionality is rolled out across core platforms, particularly Salesforce, in a fast-paced, agile environment.
As part of the Business Systems team, you’ll be instrumental in creating robust deployment processes that reduce risk, support scalability, and empower development teams to move quickly without compromising stability. If you're passionate about automation, process excellence, and working cross-functionally, this could be a great fit.
What you’ll do:
* Plan, coordinate, and manage deployments across key internal systems with a strong focus on Salesforce.
* Leverage Gearset to handle environment comparisons, metadata changes, and deployment automation.
* Collaborate with engineering, finance, and data stakeholders to ensure releases are tested, timed, and aligned with business goals.
* Improve and maintain CI/CD workflows, reducing manual steps and streamlining release cycles.
* Monitor deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure rollback plans are well-defined.
* Help shape long-term deployment strategy and documentation, contributing to governance and scalability.
What you bring:
* Proven experience deploying updates and managing release cycles in Salesforce environments.
* Deep knowledge of Gearset and version control tools like Git.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, automated testing, and release orchestration.
* Detail-driven and quality-focused with a passion for operational reliability.
* Exposure to NetSuite or other ERP tools is a bonus, not a must.
* Strong communication and coordination skills—you’re confident driving processes across technical and non-technical teams.
Why this role?
* You’ll play a central role in how this business evolves technologically—bringing structure, stability, and efficiency to essential system updates.
* They operate a hybrid model with flexibility and just 1–2 office days per month in Farnborough.
* Salary of £70,000, with a chance to grow alongside a supportive, forward-thinking team.
* Opportunity to influence best practices and build scalable frameworks from the ground up.
