Overview
Project Site Manager – Location: Leicestershire (with national travel as required). We’re seeking a Project Site Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the planning and safe delivery of a variety of projects across client sites. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of project works, including programme management, QHSE compliance, and contractor supervision.
* Act as Principal Contractor under CDM 2015 Regulations and Building Safety Act 2022.
* Oversee site operations, including inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, and documentation.
* Collaborate with Project Managers and supply partners to ensure efficient implementation.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure smooth handover processes.
* Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements.
* Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Support business development by identifying project opportunities within client portfolios.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Minimum 5 years proven site management experience in M&E, FM, construction, or critical environments.
* Skills: Strong organisational, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to deliver projects on time and budget.
* Knowledge: Competent in Health & Safety legislation; electrical and/or mechanical experience.
* Qualifications:
o Recognised technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical, or Electrical.
o CSCS card holder.
o Desirable: CDM 2015, NEBOSH, SMSTS, IOSH.
* Circumstances: Ability to travel nationally and work outside normal hours when required.
