Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Aerospace & Defence
Marlow | Up to £65,000 DOE + Benefits
A leading name in aerospace innovation is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take ownership of complex, high-integrity design projects that support global defence and civil aviation programmes.
This is a technically senior role with real influence. You’ll be responsible for full lifecycle mechanical design, from initial concepts through to final delivery, on a range of mission-critical products used in airborne environments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver detailed mechanical designs using 2D/3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
2. Conduct FEA and CFD simulations to validate performance and structural integrity
3. Act as Lead Engineer on key projects, with responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality
4. Produce engineering documentation and drawings in line with BS8888 and ISO standards
5. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drive continuous improvement
