Offer description

Rowan Ward 1 provides an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, compassionate and highly skilled team caring for adults of working age who are experiencing acute mental health difficulties. We are looking for caring, motivated and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting people through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. As a Band 3 Health Care Assistant, you will work as an essential member of the multidisciplinary team, supporting assessment, treatment and recovery for patients presenting with a wide range of mental health needs. You will deliver safe, person‑centred and holistic care under the supervision of registered nurses, contributing to the smooth running of a 24/7 service through a rotational shift pattern including nights, weekends and bank holidays. We welcome applicants from both professional and non‑professional backgrounds. Previous healthcare experience is beneficial but not essential, as we value transferable skills, life experience and a genuine commitment to helping others. What matters most is being compassionate, respectful, patient‑focused and willing to learn. Staff on Rowan Ward 1 benefit from structured supervision, opportunities for continued development, and the chance to build experience in therapeutic engagement, care planning and mental health interventions. The ward is known for its welcoming, positive culture and commitment to delivering high quality, recovery‑focused care.
