The Role
Macclesfield College has an innovative vision for delivering high-quality education to a wide range of learners. The post-holder will be involved in marketing, planning, delivery, assessment, and internal verification of the entry-level Construction Multiskills courses. This involves supporting learners in achieving their academic and career goals by delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring high student attendance and satisfaction.
The post-holder's existing excellent skills will be further enhanced by the College’s continuous professional development programme.
Main Duties for this role include
1. Planning teaching, learning, and assessment for college programmes across various levels using appropriate formats to ensure effective learning.
2. Delivering teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
3. Assessing learners’ work accurately, both formatively and summatively, against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure qualification achievement.
4. Ensuring compliance with all college quality assurance procedures as prescribed by the Deputy Principal to meet internal and external audit standards.
5. Liaising with external agencies, including validating bodies, employers, and placement providers.

Salary
Up to £38,190.27 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
