Overview
The Inverness West Community Nursing team are offering the opportunity for an experienced District Nurse or equivalent qualifications to hold a dynamic caseload of patients within a defined geographical area/neighbourhood. The post holder will work as part of the team, provide leadership and supervision to registered and non-registered staff, and hold responsibilities and accountability for assessments, caseload management and patient-centred care planning. The post holder will have advanced clinical assessment skills and be a non-medical prescriber, enabling them to be responsive to changing health care needs and complexities for the patients we support. The Inverness West Community operates between 8.30 and 18.00 over 7 days per week including Public Holidays. Driving licence and access to vehicle are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and supervision to registered and non-registered staff
* Assess, manage caseloads, and develop patient-centred care plans
* Apply advanced clinical assessment skills and non-medical prescribing where appropriate
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs
Qualifications
* District Nurse Specialist Practitioner or equivalent qualifications
