Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join their healthcare organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role supports a period of transformation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, partnering with operational teams, and driving process improvement initiatives.
What will you be doing as the Finance Manager:
* Month-End Close: Lead the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Reconciliation Activities: Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with accounting standards.
* Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
* Accounts Payable Oversight: Support the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
* Systems & Reporting Tools:
* Use Sage 50 for financial operations and reporting.
* Leverage modern BI tools (e.G., Power BI, Tableau) for enhanced financial analysis.
* Process Improvement: Lead and contribute to initiatives that enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
Job Requirements for Finance Manager:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
* Experience in the healthcare sector (preferred).
* Strong technical proficiency in Sage 50, BI tools, and Microsoft Excel.
* Demonstrated success in process improvement and project leadership.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Background within NHS, Care homes or Healthcare would be preferred.
What hours will you work?
Monday to Friday - 9am until 5pm.
