About the Role
The Court of Protection is the judicial body responsible for making decisions relating to the management of finances and other affairs of individuals who lack the mental capacity to do so themselves. As one of the UK’s leading firms of solicitors, we have a dedicated and experienced team that specialises in all matters relating to the Court of Protection.
You’ll join our partner Georgina Garner, who has a strong reputation in the market. Georgina acts as a professional deputy for property and financial affairs with various clients, from young children to those in later life, and has experience managing multi‑million‑pound settlements from personal injury claims. She is a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and a committee member of CoPPA, the Professional Deputies Forum.
The successful candidate will provide oversight, supervision, and support to the paralegals with their caseloads and will play an integral part in helping to grow and strengthen the team’s market presence.
This role can be performed out of our Sheffield or Manchester office on a hybrid basis (two days of office attendance per week) and will entail travel for client meetings in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
