The Role
Jackson Hogg is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced FLT Driver to join a manufacturing and warehouse operation in Ferryhill. This is a day-shift role supporting production and assembly teams through the safe movement, storage, and handling of materials.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently within a small team and will play a key role in ensuring materials are available to support day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating forklifts safely within a warehouse and manufacturing environment
* Moving, storing, and supplying materials to production and assembly areas
* Loading and unloading goods from deliveries and dispatches
* Ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely
* Supporting general warehouse and production activities as required
* Adhering strictly to all health & safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience driving forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
* Valid FLT licence
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently within a small team
* Reliable, safety-focused approach to work
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience using inventory or stock control systems
