Our team is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Financial Clerk to join our fast-paced environment.
This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain accurate financial records. As part of this position, you will be involved in processing international payments, preparing invoices, and ensuring timely bank and petty cash reconciliations.
About You
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with relevant qualifications such as AAT, is essential for this role.
* Experience with credit control and VAT returns is also necessary.
* Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
* Complete month-end processes, including bank and petty cash reconciliations.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns.
* Process supplier invoices and credits.
* Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
