A welcoming and well-organised secondary school in Norwich is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Science to join its supportive Science department. About the Role As ECT Science Teacher, you will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build secure understanding and strong scientific thinking. You will be supported to teach a well-sequenced curriculum that develops: Secure understanding of key scientific concepts across Biology, Chemistry and Physics Confidence with practical work and safe laboratory routines Data handling, evaluation and application of knowledge Strong scientific vocabulary and written responses where required Exam confidence through modelling, purposeful practice and precise feedback Lessons are structured to be challenging and accessible, supporting learners with different starting points through effective scaffolding and stretch and challenge. ECT Support and Development The school offers a strong ECT induction programme aligned to the Early Career Framework.
