A London-based train operating company is looking to recruit a dedicated Financial Control Assistant to join a small, dynamic team within their Finance Department, reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager. In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in gathering and collating financial data from the stations, ensuring that Station Shift sheets are processed with precision and timeliness. By utilising the Datasys application, you will prepare balance sheet reconciliations, generate insightful tax analysis reports, and run VAT reports for review, all while conducting important station audits. We are looking for an individual who is not only numerate and literate but also thrives in a computer-literate environment, showcasing hands-on spreadsheet experience. A strong sense of organisation and the ability to prioritise workloads will set you apart. Previous experience in accounting or booking office work will be advantageous.
