Security Officer (Multiple Positions)
Salary: £25,073 to £28,108 per annum + £5,947 shift allowance based on 24/7 rotational shifts. Minimum salary offered with progression to higher point.

Working across all University sites, main duties for the role will include:
* Patrolling University grounds and properties.
* Responding to incidents and alarms.
* Implementing crime prevention measures in consultation with the Security management team.
* Working in the Security control room operating CCTV equipment.
* Providing detailed, accurate written reports.
* Carrying out duties in accordance with the University’s traffic control regulations to control car parking and traffic flow.
Qualifications:
* Substantial experience in a similar customer‑facing role.
* Ability to record and analyse information and produce accurate written reports.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Full, current driving licence (required due to frequent travel between sites).
* Experience in a similar security role is desirable.
Shift Pattern & Contract: Permanent, full‑time (36.25 per week) made up of rotational 12‑hour shifts through a 24‑hour period. Flexibility to work any shift is required; job‑share arrangements may be considered.
